Materials

Thanks to the large number of contacts we have gathered over the years, we can source a vast selection of natural and artificial materials through our large network of stone suppliers, importers, and quarries. If you are as meticulous as we are and have difficulty finding the perfect colour, texture, and finish for your project, then speaking to one of our consultants could help you find the perfect material.

Quartz

Over the last decade, quartz has become the most popular choice of material for kitchen worktops. This is because aesthetically it has many similarities with marble, due to the striking veining and the lighter contemporary colours available in marble. Unlike marble, quartz carries the strength, durability, and scratch resistance that granite is renowned for, making it the ideal choice for many.

Marble

Marble is a stunning natural stone that is perfect for bathroom vanity tops, bath surrounds, and shower walls. However, it should not be restricted solely to bathrooms and can be used in other areas such as bars, floors, and tabletops. Because it is a natural stone, each piece of marble is truly unique, meaning there are thousands of different options to choose from in colour and characteristics.

Granite

Granite is one of the hardest known materials, making it perfect for exterior use and hard-wearing areas such as flooring, worktops, barbecues, and tabletops. This makes granite the go-to material when a strong, robust and durable stone is required.

Our Collection

Choosing the correct stone is the first and most important decision when having any stonework realised. This is why at Marble Interiors we take the time to consult and advise our customers on choosing the ideal stone; taking design considerations, price concerns, and the properties of each stone into account.

We can use our expertise to explain the properties of each stone and the design considerations that should be made regarding how the specific stone would suit your project. Using our extensive network of contacts we can discover the material that is perfect for your needs, meeting your design requirements as well as your practical needs.

It is worth noting that pictures of the stones do not truly do them justice, we urge you to visit our works to view the slabs in person. If you are unable to make it, or we are inconveniently located for you, we can arrange for you to visit our suppliers directly and view their impressive range of stone materials. We could also deliver samples to your door, so you can see which materials are best suited to your project.

Offcuts

Many of the contracts we take on require us to cut full-sized slabs to the specific measurements of the customers' project. This occasionally creates numerous smaller pieces of stone that are surplus to the project's requirements, producing offcuts.
